As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand how scary and overwhelming the state of the world is right now. I hope to provide a safe space where we can address these challenges and find a realistic, healthy way forward. Additionally, I can assess and write letters for individuals who are experiencing gender dysphoria and want to pursue gender affirming care. I also specialize in DBT-I techniques that are immediately applicable, but also use a wide range of other techniques to best fit clients needs. Through processing and coping we will work together to tackle your concerns and try to create long lasting positive change.

I talk about real solutions to daily problems and functioning including skills to prepare us for when things inevitably shift day to day. I support clients in identifying goals, building upon strengths/skills they already possess, and learning skills to adapt to life's challenges. I'm eager to help you achieve your personal goals, whatever they may be!

Whether you choose to work with me or not, I want to give you props for getting this far in what can often feel like an intimidating process. Reaching out for support is not always easy, but can help to regaining control and continuing your healing journey! Please don't hesitate to reach out and I give you your flowers in taking this step.

Marian Anderson, LMSW

Clinical Therapist

Marian Anderson

My specialties include trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, depression, and anxiety. I am also passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC, Women’s issues, and those who struggle with body image. As a queer black woman in a larger body I understand that simply existing in a society that has marginalized you can be a trauma in and of itself. I’m here to guide you on your journey to healing.

My approach to therapy is a combination of relaxed and structured. We will create a treatment plan based on your goals which will guide our sessions. During each session we will work towards your goals while leaving flexibility to discuss current issues. I also provide my clients with tasks between sessions to build on the skills introduced in session.

I know how scary the first steps can be towards addressing your mental health. Even if you choose not to work with me I want you to know I’m proud of you for getting this far. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions, and congratulations on taking an important step towards healing!

Aubs Ellison, LLMSW

Clinical Therapist

As a queer, gender queer/nonbinary, black, goofy, baddie in a bigger body, I know the impact a safe space can have. Especially in a time where being “different” corresponds with exclusion and erasure. This is where therapy can be effective in unraveling the chaos and provide a respite for you to catch your breath, find your voice, and feel affirmed to stand in your power. Though uncertainty and change can be challenging, and vulnerability feel scary in this circumstance; I am here to walk alongside you and provide a space to create intentional, effective, and long-lasting change

I have had the honor of belonging too and working with a wide range of populations and ages, providing a depth of knowledge in adoption, LGBTQ issues/exploration, domestic violence, domestic abuse, anxiety, depression, sexual assault, PTSD, kink affirming care, and sex work.

It is through these experiences that has fueled my passion for creating an accessible and comfortable environment, where you are able to explore your true authentic self and anything you come with, without judgment.
